No the creator of the film said it wasn't anything to do with Elvis but why then use a elvis impersonator as the main lead?

This looks like a nice film, the boys were born in 1936 and both were live....maybe its a reffrence to what life would have been like had jesse lived, here is a description!

That description is basically the musical Blood Brothers which is really old, (started as a play then a musical). Willy Russell's lawyers should watch this film!

Well, twin boys are separated at birth in both that play & the new film.

But the Willy Russell play doesn't have the Elvis element in it !

There lies the difference...
