Is there a reason why this track wasn't included on the FTD release, "American Sound - 1969"?

It was included on the FTD release of "From Elvis In Memphis" though.

Maybe because of space on the cds so priority was given to other tracks?
This is definately my least favorite track on the FEIM album.
If it was up to me I would have replaced it with something else.

I have always liked it. I wouldn't change any tracks on FEIM - just the anachronistic picture on the back of the sleeve.

"American Sound 1969" was conceived as a digital-only release for the mass / streaming market. I'm not sure if they ruled out any physical release whatsoever of if they took restrictions imposed by physical media under account during planning / production. There could have been other constraints, like number of tracks included that we don't know of. 'American Sound' is a weird release in my eyes.
