‘ElvisMixer’ YouTube channel has also mixed and produced some really nice mono to stereo tracks.

‘I’m Counting On You’

Check out their other mixes too.

So far the best version of this is on Rock 'n' Roll no 1, mono to stereo. The separation between Elvis, the instruments and the backing vocals is fantastic. It sounds entirely natural.

On the ElvisMixer one you've presented here, Elvis' voice sounds strange. There's also some distortion here and there and the backing vocals are not that clear.

This one by Elvis Mixer is very good although again there is a lack of definition on the vocal as a result of the processing.

The Big Hunk O Love on the show earlier is very well separated and defined which I suspect will likely be due to a different way of doing things.

When "I'm Counting on You" appeared on Elvis' first UK album: Rock 'n' Roll, I was only 13.

Financial constraints meant I had to buy a secondhand copy of the album.

When this track played, the needle got stuck every time !

Always reminds me of that whenever I hear it, even now !

I had the same thing with ‘Elvis’ Gold Records Vol 4’ Indescribably Blue had a needle jump on the intro, I still wait for that needle jump today when I listen to the CD version.

On "Frankfort special" on an EP the needle jumped during the intro but it was not annoying.
Only when I got and played the LP it was a weird experience that the intro suddenly was longer.
My sister wanted an LP transferred to home made CD, so I digitalized it and cleaned the sound, removing hiss, clicks and pops.
When my sister played the CD-R she found it weird not hearing the usual hiss, clicks and pops.
I never liked the gospel recordings but I was surpised by the much better sound of "He touched me" on a Japanese pressing.

Would you be so kind as to let us hear one of your personal projects Im fascinated by this.
You cannot please everyone but I’m sure it would be worth a listen.
