It's the regular version with echo added, hardly alternate IMO.

It would be better if it said either 'echo version' or 'alternate version with echo' !

Having said that, in the UK, 'alternate' means 'not all, but every other one' .

[As in: "I don't exercise every day, but on alternate days']

In the UK, the absolutely 'correct' wording for 'track 8' would be 'alternative version with echo'.

If the word is shortened to 'alt' it would suit everywhere...

No, there isn't, is there ?

At Xmas, we want Xmas songs or carols.

They will lump in hymns like Peace in the Valley & quasi-religious things like I Believe
that have only a tenuous connection with Xmas.

Elvis recorded enough of the right songs to complete a decent length CD, without the need for these 'fillers'...

In the 50's RCA added a lot of echo to Elvis' tracks.
