I mean they Photoshop his eyes moremblue (so it looks fake to me.... almost unnatural blue)....but don't bother to eliminate that very obvious line I pointed out?

The pic sort of has an intentional "sepia tone" look to it. The colors are obviously not totally natural.

I am not talking about that.
Look what i did pointed out

I understand that, but what you pointed out is barely noticeable when just giving the cover photo a quick glance.
You enlarged the cover pic in order to point out something that you noticed.

My point is that the color(s) of the entire cover photo is much more noticeable... his eyes, facial skin, and lips don't look natural because the color tone has been altered.
I'm happy to be an Elvis fan! 8-)

Barely noticeable?
Well,it sprang to my eyes the first time I saw the cover art many
weeks ago.
Very sloppy work.
A beginners fault.
But it seems nobody do care.
Why would they ?
When fans even accepted reversed pictures on albums decades ago and since then.
But I guess cover art is supposed to just look at "a very quick glance".
And not a thorough look at it while admiring a cover which is what is a cover should accomplish.
Hey, there is even out a cover on an Elvis Presley CD out there with an Elvis imitator on it (black leather from the side).
But why bother?
Covers are just to look at a very quick glance.

The photo on the cover is obviously a still from the 1968 NBC Special. It was then touched up. I wonder why Sony can not get access to real Elvis photographs for the album covers?

More likely, they are copyrighted and cost money to use, so they just touch things up on a lower quality image. The cd packaging is just to hold the product in these days. However, the music inside is very well done. The recording industry is not making as much money as it used to, so it cuts back, especially on dead artists, who are a harder sell. They put most of their money into pop acts that they know will get excessive radio promotion.

Pacer, if it was so noticeable, then why did you have to enlarge the cover pic (with an arrow)
in order to point out something that you noticed?

I didn't notice it. I might have noticed a bad edit on the album though.

Nice Elvis room the guy has. Seriously, it's a fairly typical review of a fan's first reaction. I've listened, held back, then listened again to see if there is any change in my opinion. For me, the album is really enjoyable as a whole. The key tracks are "I've Got Confidence" "Where No One Stands Alone" "Saved" "Crying In The Chapel" "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace."

The album is very well done, mainly because the beauty of Elvis's vocals. I can not complain about the sound quality. Elvis does sound stunning on this.

I agree.

It is very noticeable, and a graphic artist (if they are still around these days) should be more careful and take more care with their work.

I think that people are too much with the attitude, "that will do" these days, it is sad.

One of my friends was a graphic artist, and the work and detail she put into everything she did in her job, was superb, she took a pride in her work.

I saw it even on the little pics of it.
And I didn't "enlarged "it...i took a random pic from Google without enlarging it.
And I saw it, like I said, even on the smaller pics.

I said I didn't notice it, but I did after you pointed it out, but to me it ain't no big deal. Is it on the LP cover there in the video?

What about "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Bosom of Abraham"? ... Give those 2 another listen. 8-)

One thing I noticed, the instrumental intro to In The Garden is so similar to that on Where No One Stand Alone that I expect him to be singing the latter when I hear the former...

Yes, they're very similar. Also, I find that WNOSA has a Christmas feel about it.
