Here we go again: This weeks findings! ;)

Indie folk singer Allison Ponthier released her new song "Shaking Hands With Elvis", the official lyrics video is very simple (just a small segment recorded during a photo shooting repeated all over again) but I kinda like the song:

It is difficult, but not impossible, to find interesting things apart from the many clips for the new film. Again this week some contributions of "the usual suspects" caught my eye:

Here are three clips for the romantics among us... In all cases, the footage has been restored and qualitatively improved using appropriate software.

Josh Wildfire continues remixing, taking on "Spinout" this week. If Tom Cruise would like to shoot a sequel to "Days of Thunder" as well, that (and the still missing remixes of "Speedway", "Night Rider" and "Wheels On My Heels") would be something for the soundtrack

And finally, here's Billy Smith again. It's just like listening to your grandpa tell hilarious stories from the good old days:

Edit:
I usually do not give encores ;) , but I really couldn't resist to add this Sunday late arrival:

This Sunday I will start with something different! In a really surprisingly short amount of time, performance artist David Garibaldi shows us how to capture a live-action image of Elvis on canvas:

Angelina Jordan released her video for the Elvis cover "Suspicious Minds":

A new music video by Josie Cotton and Kevin Preston introduces us to a country-western-style Elvis tribute. They sing "The Ballad of Elvis Presley" which was originally written for Brian Setzer.

The official Elvis Presley YouTube channel released a series of so-called Official lyrics videos yesterday. I chose "Unchained Melody" to represent the others - they are all very similar in structure and style. You can find the others as links below.

Here are the other clips:

YouTuber Elvis XXI Fabrica once again enchants us with a version of an Elvis song reduced to the vocals: "Don't Cry Daddy"

As a chance would have it, Josh Wildfire was also keen to delve into this song this week. Here is his remixed version:
