Most of the songs they supplied to Elvis were pure garbage, let's face it.
When you look up their songwriting credits, they wrote some nice songs for other people, ones I never knew were written by them.

Looking through that list, I must admit there are more acceptable songs than I remembered, although there's still a big amount of dross.
By the way, "Today, Tomorrow And Forever" as recorded by Patsy Cline in 1957 is a completely different song, written by somebody else.
