Jordan in Critical Condition

I don't visit here very often these days, so don't know the best place to post this. I'm sure a moderator will move it to the correct section.

Jordan Ritchie's wife has asked me to let everyone know he isn't very well at the moment. He was found unresponsive on Monday morning and is in a very critical condition.

Some of you may know that he has had health issues over the last couple of years, so this is very worrying to everyone who knows him.

Please keep him in your thoughts at this time.

Jordan's been keeping me regularly updated and he certainly has been going through it for a long time. He was due for a consultation this month, but I haven't heard the result.

Here's wishing him well, and a speedy recovery.

There's no further news regarding Jordan as yet. I'm sure we are all wishing his a speedy and full recovery. Without him, Phoenix would not exist.

His wife has reported on fecc of good progress and that he could be out of hospital tomorrow. Let's hope so.

Thank you Keith for posting this, and for everyone's kind words. I appreciate every single one of them

I know there are people allot worse off than me, I am just lucky to be alive! For seven days in the hospital I was afraid to go to sleep, not knowing if I would wake up again. I know that sounds silly. But I owe my life to the paramedics, doctors, nurses, and other staff that made sure I stayed alive.

Whatever caused this event (pretty much what is defined as a "full arrest") in medical jargon could happen again. And that scares me for my family and you, my extended family. And I'm going to do everything in my power to prevent it.

I know I'm not traditionally "active" on the forums as I should be, but I am constantly behind the scenes making sure the forums and sites are running in tip top shape. And the good news is the plan in place for the servers if they did not get any recognized input from me after a period of time, they went into sort of a fail safe mode. And that worked perfectly.

I have a long road ahead of me, with another long hospitalization already scheduled for the near future (hello burglars! Just joking! I hope!).

I never thought I'd be on "this end of the bed". I'm used to taking care of patients. Not being one.

More than 3 years ago I first started my journey on "this end of the bed" I never thought it would lead here.
