That'll be in the next batch. The ones I mentioned are from 1965.

Yeah that seems very likely.

Cisco already said on the other forum that there will be new soundboards. New shows. Good for folks like me, I guess. No idea what else is in the pipeline, though. I personally don't expect another major sessions set this soon.

Let's speculate a bit ;)

We've known for a while now that a re-issue of the "Now In Person 1972" material "in a different configuration" is in the works and due this year.

In terms of movie sessions, I'm very much looking forward to "It Happened At The World's Fair". It's a very decent soundtrack and I still love my 2003 FTD classic album. I just don't see anything like this coming anytime soon, the reason being the re-release of the "Now In Person 1972" material and the follow-up to the "Guitar Man" session set of last year. So the way I see it, there really is no room for another movie session until the end of the year at the soonest, unless they decide to release a movie session instead of the "Guitar Man" follow-up. The FTD crew is dedicated but small and they won't be able to issue back-to-back sessions sets like some would want them to do.

My best guess for the next batch of releases: a soundboard set + the new config of "Now In Person 1972".

I think we'll get a sessions set sooner than the end of the year.

As for "Now In Person 1972", do we really need that? I hope not.

Aww, how many cds would it take to get a really complete American Sound Studios set ?

Bring it on, once and for all !!!

Let's do some sort of crowd-funding and get it rolling, folks. I'm sure this would sell a few hundred copies, and when it's gone, it's gone.

They did that 1969 live set with basically the same show repeated a dozen times, and they won't do an American complete set ?

One thing - keep that Spang kid away from the knobs.

They will never do it. I don't know why, but they won't. If I'm wrong, I'll get Javi to eat Colin's underw...err, hat.

Haven't they milked this stuff enough ?

It's been over 56 years since those sessions happened. We have purchased a thousand configurations. Ain't it time to get the whole thing from the damn master tapes, as they were put on tape by Moman ? And, again, don't tell Spang about the project.

I feel everything will be out, eventually. The question is, when and how.

Even frickin' "Elvis In Concert".

It's a huge job. Actually, maybe they have already done it, but if so, why haven't they put it out? Oh, silly question, so they can sell it to us ten times.
Even frickin' "Elvis In Concert".

I don't play that now, so unlikely to buy it if it comes out again.

I’m up for a remix of Elvis In Concert.
It can be improved, audio wise.

No doubt it can, but it's not something I want to listen to much, so I'm not interested.
