Maybe it's just me, but somehow the action sequences of the show don't really fit the "peace and understanding" message of the song...

I've watched the first two episodes.

Whilst I'm not against Elvis being "cartoonised", this show is a let down for me. I'm sure it will be a hit, but, it's full of extreme violence, bad language, the glorification of drug taking, and the suggestion of bestiality.

Does it mock Elvis? Not overly, yet. He's the hero and he does heroic things, but he also shoots up televisions.

I doubt that his vision of being the hero of the comic book would be quite like this.

As for Priscilla, surely she knew what the content would be. It's almost like she's getting a bit of revenge for something.
