Due to space restrictions on the raised stage there was no room for the orchestra, so Joe Guercio and the
boys are missing from this concert! Interesting to hear the songs with only the small group playing.
Songs which needed the full orchestra, like American Trilogy, were not included.

It was released on an unofficial CD in 2000: Event No.8

Thanks. Never heard this show before, so I'm in. Not owning too many bootlegs turned out to be a good thing, thanks to ftd. An interesting show indeed without orchestra.

The extraordinary Astrodome show has been on people's wishlists for ages. I'm glad FTD is finally putting this one out, as it's an interesting listen. Personally I would have preferred to see both Fort Worth shows (June 15) on this release and have the Baton Rouge performance saved for later.

Haven't listened yet, but that sticker warning about the audio quality is ominous !

The sound is not to bad.

It’s a shame they’ve used such a poor version of the photograph. The version posted by HillybillyCat above is far superior.
