colonel snow,
Thank you for creating the thread. Immediately after this post, I will send Woody a link to this new thread. I think we should give a little backstory to Norman Blagman in this thread. Norman co-wrote two songs that Elvis recorded at RCA Victor Recording Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee on March 12-13, 1961. Those two songs were "Give Me The Right" and "Put The Blame On Me" and both were featured on the 1961 Elvis Presley album, "Something For Everybody." "Put The Blame On Me" was later featured in a scene with the lovely Jocelyn Lane in Elvis' 1965 Allied Artists Motion Picture, "Tickle Me," as well as the "Tickle Me" extended play (EP) here in the U.S.

http://www.forbiddenelvis.comWoody also made available a free download of "Snow Bunny" by Steve Leeds, recording under the alias of Magnus T. Cook & The Oath of Sound. Woody claimed on the website that Elvis was offered the opportunity to record "Snow Bunny" in 1967. After a little digging, I found that the Magnus T. Cook & The Oath of Sound recording of "Snow Bunny" was released as a single in 1972. On the website, Woody claimed that this recording of "Snow Bunny" was featured in a recent film titled "Merry Good Enough."

Hopefully, Woody joins us here on Phoenix forum. I would love to see a Bear Family style CD or two featuring the Norman Blagman demo recordings, provided that there are enough of them to justify a CD. It could be titled, "Norman Blagman - Presley Style: Lost Elvis Songwriter Demos."
