UK's Most Successful Chart Acts

I'm not sure how the UK chart positions are worked out, but this always looked suspicious to me.

'The 50 Greatest Hits' album enjoyed 150 weeks on the chart, ending its last run on 3rd March, 2022 having risen 11 places to No.52 that week.

It then disappeared from the Top 100 albums chart altogether, never to be seen again.

'Elv1s - 30 Number 1 Hits', suddenly re-appeared the very next week, after a 5-year absence, replacing 'The 50 Greatest Hits' at No.53.

How convenient to have just one Elvis album in the Top 100 at a time !

The Record Company can release or remove whatever they like. The Chart Company only charts and monitors those records which the record company releases.
