I presume you don't mean the session in 1967, do you?
Or what do you mean.
Elvis and him singing a duet in 1967 and new guitar overdub in 1980?

We know Jerry was at the original session, so maybe that's when they did the duet, but they decided to shelve it because Jerry sounds to rough. On the other hand if it was 1980, Jerry isn't listed as being there. Maybe Felton let him put his voice on at a different time. Jerry does sound a little older, so I'd hazard a guess it was after 1967.

I would Never even think that on the original master (it's Elvis ' master vocal of the record master) Jerry reed sang along with Elvis.
The only think which that could have happened ( and I highly doubt that) that Jerry overdubbed his vocal in 1967 over the complete vocal master laid down by Elvis.
But never he created a real duet with Elvis live singing with him.
Because Elvis sang the master straight through.
So either reed overdubbed his vocal in 1967, which I doubt, on Elvis ' version....or more likely in 1980.
But not a real live duet in 1967 which I am sure about.
If I misunderstood you, I apologize.
