It's nice to see how the selection of songs in a movie is built up; continuing changes with deleted songs and last moment additions.
Sometimes deleted songs were used in one of the next movies or in a studio recording session.

In my opinion Harem holiday is one of the weakest Elvis' movie; but that's a personal opinion. The songs have the same quality comparing other Elvis' movies from the years 1964-1967.

Yes colonel snow...i've been an ELVIS since 1975! I have all the RCA/BMG/Sony/FTD, Vinyl/CD's also Boots on the same format and Books VHS/DVDs you know and name it..... all the stuff since the late 70's....but Harum Scarum has a special spot for me. My Stepson (now 27 old) knows the movie-names of the 3 Harem Beauties. Do you know their names?...My Stepson doesn't like ELVIS...but "Verschollen Im Harem" (Harum Scarum / Harem Holiday) and the name of the beauties "are forever in his brain..." ONLY kidding. It isn't that bad Col. its a nice a lovely movie...be a kid for 90 minutes... and so what. Matt

Suspicious Minds/colonel snow...what beautiful posts, i like HARUM SCARUM/HAREM HOLIDAY, why...because IT IS A (not so) BAD MOVIE, but for the little boy in your heart the greatest adventure ever btw... if you ever saw the movie in the mid 70's (Austria) as an 13th years old at Christmas Time on Television...woww Johnny T. aka ELVIS was the greatest ;) ...and he is, i love this movie-trash-plot, it is a little bit of my childhood memories and the starting for my, beside the Arcade DoLP, the beginning of my "ELVIS collector career", lol, Matt
