I know that - but it's reversed and colorized !

I just hate when they do that!

Leave the original as it is is my motto.

Please, post the original photo pal ;) , thx in advance, Matt

Mister Moon, you're good at correcting reversed images. Could you do this one for our pal, Matt?. ;)

Cheers :)

I became interested in bidding on this very rare release of the Live On Stage Hilton Hotel 1972 bootleg, but when the bids skyrocketed, I decided not to participate in this auction. The album was finally sold for over 700 Euros. This would have been a nice addition to my collection, but you can't always win.

It’s good you kept that amount in your pocket; it’s the second edition of a counterfeit (released in 1980) (entry # 460 in the bootleg book). You don’t need the songs because these were taken from Madison Square Garden + Aloha LP’s.

Most definitely a strange frenzy of bidding for that POC.

Having been burnt in 1981 buying the counterfeit/2nd issue, which was, as Col Snow says issued in 1980,
you dodged a bullet there, GIB.

One thing though, maybe this was the 1st press - since it's 10" - my copy was 12" with a b&w front cover.

Thoughts?

700 Euros for that record is crazy.

For that amount you could get a good selection of cool original releases.

Since I appear to be the only enthusiast for the, for want of a better word, trashier-sounding boots!

I mean seriously - no love at all for the 45001/2 Vegas & Nevada Nights eps? just me then? OK!

Elvis Presley is Alive and Well and Singing in Las Vegas (Vol. 1)

Image

I only got this a few years back. Never saw it back in the day at all. What is interesting is that the tracks have been crammed on as much as they can, and to be able to fit all the tracks onto the disc, the songs' intros are cut and the editing throughout is rather....primitive shall we say?

Image

Safe to conclude that Volume 2 never materialised?

I can't listen to audience recordings anymore. It hurts my ears.
