Such a great release.

Fetches around the £300+ mark just in excellent condition.

Ok. A little to high. £250 for a tip top copy.

A friend of mine bought a copy of it only just recently, well about a year ago and he paid £200 for a excellent copy. So I suppose a mint one would go for £250+.

It's indeed a very cool item, and I wish I had it in my shelves, but it's really a 1963 reissue of the 1957 original:

Mean Old Frisco!

I'd forgotten about that first pressing. Yes, you're right Tony's one is the reissue from 63 but it's still fetches the amount I've quoted. Not sure how much the first pressing would go for.

I've never owned either of them which is quite surprising for me, because I used to buy any 50s originals from around the world that had any of his Sun tracks on it, whether it was EPs, 45s, LPs...

Yes, it's from 63 and is a reissue of the 57 original.
I do know a couple of folks who have the 1980's French reissue of the 57 version and I had to let them down lightly.
Personally I've never seen an original 57 version anywhere.

I don't think I've seen the original 57 one either. Even in all the years of buying from Chris Giles who has some of the rarest vinyl around, and for sale. I do remember the reissue from the 80s.

Personally I prefer the 63 cover design to the 57 original.

The early 80's reissue is a good reproduction and very well manufactured.
There were five French reissues if I remember correctly, and first available individually.
They were later reissued again as part of a box set with different catalogue numbers.
