Perhaps you could see if it is fine to take some paracetamol, just before the jab, so you don't have any delay before the paracetamol takes affect?

This is what is recommended in Australia for babies and toddlers when taking them for their jabs.

I don't like taking medication, so I'm not likely to take it before I need it, just in case I need it later !

As it happens, I've not felt 'groggy' in the days following the jab anyway...

I had a Covid-19 test on Tuesday, 19th January, & it was negative !

The testing place was deserted when I arrived & the same by the time I left.

My local council has requested we all get tested & via Facebook gave a link to the form to apply.
