He will be missed but never forgotten.
i had the pleasure of working with him for over 10 years.
when the Specials reformed for the 30th anniversary tour in 2009,
"Don't tell me to play it. I will when I get ready. Do you understand me?"

I liked The Specials' "A Message To You,Rudy" when it came out, and it was a pretty big hit. It was a refreshing sound, amidst all the crap of the day.

It's worth mentioning that the original version of the song was released in 1967, as written and performed by Jamaican artist Dandy Livingstone (original title - "Rudy, A Message To You") :
