I have just learned about the recent passing of Dickie Harrell, the original drummer in Gene Vincent's Blue Caps. He was just 15 when he joined the band and recorded tons of immortal rock and roll tracks, starting with "Be Bop A Lula".
He passed away on May 31, at age 82.
