If it's of any interest, you have two weeks to take advantage of this.

I tried to get something going over on FECC but needless to say that miserable old cunt Saulovich killed it stone dead. Their loss.

Very interesting. I always believed the rights owner to these shows was Dave Clark of The Dave Clark Five and he had no interest to release the stuff.
Meantime I will have to do with the old video tapes.

According to good old Wikipedia,

In the 1980s Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five acquired the rights to the 1960s UK music show and bought the rights to the surviving recordings.

On 10 January 2018, BMG Rights Management announced that it had acquired the ancillary rights to Ready, Steady, Go!

Interesting, but the time is gone when I would spend £75 on this. I have loads of RSG shows which I recorded when they were broadcast in the 80s or 90s. Can't remember. Nevertheless, loads of Beatles and Stones and other goodies.

I had it in my basket and removed it. Came to my senses. Then a week later I bought it after selling a load of electrical stuff. I sort of wish I hadn't because we've got better things to do with £80 (Inc postage) but on the other hand they've never been on dvd before and some are in better quality, and I think this might be the only chance to get them.

I found a page where BMG announced that they'd bought the rights in 2018, and they made all kinds of claims about what they were going to do with the material. None of it has happened. This might be an attempt to dump it out there and get some money back.

I've just found out that in the end only 188 copies of the DVD set were released. I assume mine will arrive shortly.

Keep us in the loop. It was such a great show. I used to tape it and I've got a few hours of footage which I've digitally transferred.

Will do. I'm guessing that they printed the 300 copies, and will hold 112 back until they know that they don't need any for replacements. Then they'll destroy the remainder.
