Fly high with the Angels my beautiful friend, Mountain Mist. I will miss you. You were an amazing beautiful soul and human being. I'm so glad I met you through our mutual love of our beautiful man Elvis & our love for animals. Rest in peace beautiful lady.

Kimberly Michelle Johnson [Mountain Mist] sent me a lovely, though short, video in December, 2020.

I've posted it here as a tribute to her:

That smile gets me every time !

RIP MM.

Kimberly was truly a beacon of light, that saw good in every single member of this forum. We and our counterparts were her extended family. Kimberly always treated everyone with respect, dignity, and kindness. As it should be for and with everyone.
Our time on this rock is short. Kimberly seared her brightness into our collective memory.
The best way to carry on and respect her memory is to act as she acted.
If we did this, "this rock we call home" would be a much, MUCH better place.

Rest in Peace

Wow. Shocked.
I was with her in contact for quite a while until last year.
On facebook her name was "Jessica"....so I am confused with Kimberly.
We talked quite a few times on the phones.

A fitting tribute.
Because it shows her on camera.
I have one of her too.
But i am not good with technical stuff to upload it.

She was always trying to see the good in people-even if there was no one.
Didn't know about her illness because we lost touch a year ago.

Funny what one poster wrote about her on another forum - since that poster was the one she talked about and why she left that forum.

Anyhow, I hope she had some joy besides her beloved son, horses and farm.
Because when I talked with her in depth that was all she cared about.

That fuxxing cancer. Damn. Again.
I know what I am talking about.
She was private about that it seems. Her Facebook profile didn't revealed it.
I just hope she did not had to suffer.
She did suffer, I am afraid....so I hope it wasn't too long of a suffer.
Bye, honey.

I don't want to rain on nobody's parade but, with all due respect to the departed person, I don't believe she always treated everyone with respect, dignity, and kindness, as stated above. That happened only as long as you were on her wavelength.

Likewise, I can't understand how another forum shows a special display with this news. Too many fine folks have left us all through the years, like Ken, Brian, and Ger, and the news didn't seem to deserve that honour.

Anyway, my condolences to family and friends.

Moon, now that Kimberly is no longer here to defend herself on this forum, I can honestly say, knowing her personally as a close friend for over 10 years, She had a heart of gold & she never spoke ill or rubbish of anyone or anything, including those individuals on the old forum that had malice intent toward her. I've spoken to her over the phone countless times over the years & she never had a negative attitude toward anyone. Not one bit. It's just not in her DNA.

Cheers & Peace,

Some selfies Kimmie sent me over the years, along with her beloved Malamute dog, Buck (Buck also passed on late last year at 18 years...:( ). She almost always talked about her fur children, especially her horses (Ed & Serenity) at her ranch whom she was very fond of...

Hi TCB-FAN,

My main point is, I don't like it when somebody passes away and suddenly gets sanctified and reaches perfection. I have seen it many times in life, and it's just ridiculous. It's just bad enough to mourn the absence of a loved one, forever.

What I posted was based on personal experience here and in another forum. I had a good rapport with her many times, but in the end it was no good. That's all, it's no problem at all.

I thought about just letting this thread go, but I just couldn't stand another example of sanctification. None of us is perfect, and we must learn to accept that fact, even more so when one of us leaves the damn building.

And, for the record, I love animals too. I have had several dogs, and cats - all of them are gone now, except for one of the cats.

Again, my condolences to all of the family and friends.
