Didn't George play a banjelele which is a mix of both?

Banjolele. So did George and Jeff (you know them). Go to around the 2" mark.

At the end of the "Free As A Bird" video (1995) we can see an anonymous ukulele player :

George played it on the record. Everything Beatles has been revealed, surely someone, somewhere knows who this is.

"Sayaka Alessandra - from a Brazilian Fan" - which just popped up on my YouTube feed today.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV6S03Vb8Q0

Google translation of the poster's comment : "I like her because she's simple and different, a woman from the past in our future. rarity this".

This video is a photo collage. The photos are gorgeous and are complemented beautifully by a Spanish (presumably) version of Always On My Mind by Julio Iglesias. For the record, I don't actually 'fancy' Sayaka (it would be a bit gross at my age) - I just can't take my eyes off her in her videos. She is so delightful and with an amazing talent. Any young man who came into contact with her would, I am sure, develop an enormous crush.

She is truly captivating and engaging as a performer, and visually.

Being older doesn't stop us 'fancying' attractive women who are younger !

It's just that there's no chance of it developing beyond that...

You have charm, personality, investments, a big....

Actually with all your carers, you're sorted.

... Elvis collection.

Just finishing off your sentence there.

Yes, I can go along with all that, except the double whammy of Brexit & Covid have severely dented the 'investments' bit...

Bernie Ecclestone. He became a dad again at the age of 89 a couple of years ago. There's a 65 year age gap between his youngest and eldest child.

Besides your very true description of Sayaka's tone and voice, I was wondering if you were also looking for the adjective of "a groove".

Sayaka has such a good groove going.

She is a talented musician.

Oh, I see - it's not an expression I would normally use. ;)

I think we would all love a Q&A session with her. She doesn't appear to be particularly ambitious musically - maybe she's just content with what she's doing, which is quite refreshing. Just my supposition, of course.

Hi Steve,

I thought that "groove" (groovy) was from the 1970's or so; however, (I love Facebook for this) the session musicians, from the 1970's, use this terminology up until today, when referring to really good musicians. I like the term, for me, it is all encompassing and a fun term used by professional musicians.

I would like to suggest that perhaps Sayaka may be trying to build her audience to make her living from Youtube.

The reason I say this, there is a gardening Youtube channel I watch, (plus there are many others) the couple on this channel make enough money to live very nicely, together, at home, with their children, while humbly and jokingly, planning for capital investments in the future. Good on them.

You can get her to sing happy birthday for you for $15.

We should all put some money towards Sayaka singing Happy Birthday, to you and Colin, for all the work on the site. ;)
