It's subjective, of course...

Indubitably.

Twitter is gone now... at least for users who - like me - neither have nor intend to have an account. This dries up another interesting source of Elvis pictures for me. :( Apparently it's a global strategy that Twitter is now completely closing itself off to non-members:

Although I am a registered Twitter user, I seldom actually use it.

I do not use Twitter. Occasionally there is a newspaper article that quotes or links to a Twitter message, which I then can see or skip.

Meantime someone told me a lot of Elvis pages on Facebook have been removed, hundreds of them.
Yet I still see a lot of Elvis pages on Facebook although now none of them have photoshopped or fake Elvis photos.
Seems Todd Slaughter's Elvis Fan Club page is one of the victims.

Is it just me who feels the latest cruise ships are a tad over-the-top ?

Talk about over the top. What if you can not wait to buy a new single until the shops open and go to the automatic?!
This one as in the sixties in front of a record store in Rotterdam.

Eeesh! You'd come back suffering from nightmares and you'd need a nice calming holiday afterwards...well, I would anyway, not that I'd go on that in the first place.

Seems like a good idea to me. Of course these days you just stream it or download it at any time at all.

Wot - no Elvis ?

Not the date at all.

Just wondering why no Elvis cover was considered the 'best' or 'worst'...

Right. That's tackiness at its worst. And I agree that must be a scary place. I wouldn't go there for free.

From the UK Newspaper 'i' - 20th July, 2023:

20th July 2023 - 'i' UK Newspaper - 001.jpg

Jane Asher & Paul McCartney.jpg

Surely he had an inkling ?

She didn't like it that he was having an affair [allegedly].

She eventually married Gerald Scarfe in 1981.

I was surprised to see her in a film called Deep End where she was running around naked. I'm not suggesting it was anything salacious, it wasn't, I was just taken aback that she would do it.

Here's a documentary programme on the making of Deep End.
