I wonder what sells. Not original old records. Not Elvis. Even the Beatles hardly sell.
Took 60 LP's with me offering them for sale at € 3,00 each bit sold only 9 and everybody only wanted to pay € 2,50.
The records sold included Beatles, Marvin Welch & Farrar and Indo-rock artists.
The buyer of the Marvin Welch & Farrar one told me he bught it because my copy was much better than what he had in his collection.
In general sales were slow. Some people packed their stuff and went home after 2 hours because of slow sales.

From the BBC News site:

Water Bosses Bonuses.JPG

Under what sort of system did they 'earn' the bonuses in the first place ?

Water is crying out to be nationalised again !

Everything "the public" needs for living should be nationalized instead of being in the hands of commercial companies: housing, water, education, public transport, energy, necessary food and drinks. The latter also should not be taxed!
Non-necessary food and drinks can be taxed, though.

When Margaret Thatcher ran her de-nationalisation project, the first thing the 'new' companies did was to appoint a CEO on a huge salary with accompanying generous annual bonuses.

Not one of them worked as well as they did when nationalised.

Most are in a complete mess.

The same happened and happens here. The top paid jobs went to - and still go to - former politicians that failed.

Anyone tried the 'ChatGPT' site ?

I've given up on 'Cleverbot' who doesn't remember your conversations & comes up with silly, irrelevant stuff.

But 'ChatGPT' is something much better !

When discussing Gene Vincent it mentioned his motorcycle accident & claimed it was in 1960.

In a later post, I pointed out that it was, in fact, in 1955.

It then apologised to me, accepted I was correct & thanked me for pointing out the error !

It sure passed the 'Turing Test' !

Are you referring to his last concert, or Vernon dying, or the birth of Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk?

Ah - you're thinking of the 26th June date !

Some good research there !

No, it was a casual reference to the fact that our boy, doing 'cover' versions of songs, often surpassed the originals !

It's subjective, of course...
